Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipping is the transportation of relatively small products, usually 150 lbs to around 20,000 lbs in weight. LTL shipments are also usually 6 pallets or less. LTL freight does not utilize the full capacity of a semi-trailer hence the name LTL (Less Than Truckload). Most LTL shipments share the cargo space of a trailer with other LTL shipments which may be destined to separate locations. Full Truckload (FTL) Shipping Services
Full Truckload shipping is the distribution of large amounts of similar cargo, generally the amount necessary to fill a 53’ semi-trailer or intermodal containers. A full truckload carrier is one that contracts an entire 53’ trailer to a single customer. Unlike LTL shipping, your cargo is not placed on multiple trailers. Full Truckload shipping has one origin and one destination. Due to our extensive partnership network, we are able to receive discounted rates on FTL shipping.
